Computational and in vitro screening methods for nano-materials

The list of positions that are available in the partners institutes. All Early-stage researcher (ESR) positions provide 36-months training aimed at the PhD.

The risk assessment of nanomaterials within REACH remains a problem: due to the unique properties at the nano-scale, nanomaterials behave differently in natural matrices than the same material in dissolved phase or bulk form. This could result in different toxicological effects on organisms living in these different environments. Presently, there is only limited information available on

  1. fate and behavior of engineered nanoparticles (ENPs) in different environmental systems
  2. factors which govern their behavior and bioavailability
  3. toxicological effects that they may induce.

The next ECO positions will be devoted to experimental and theoretical assessment of nano-materials.

The candidates for the positions LTR10 and LTR11 are already selected - these positions are not longer available!
